Read the whitepaper →Hi, I'm Tris. I work at the intersection of technology and human cognition. Currently at UCL & Digital Trust Council, thinking about how we build tools that are good for people. My research focuses on investigating belief representations in human and artificial minds. At the DTC I am leading research that builds incentives for trustworthy AI. My work is motivated by two critical issues of our time: navigating the attention economy and getting human-AI systems right. My background is in Cognitive Science (PhD, MSc) and Science and Technology Studies (MSc). I previously spent time at Google Deepmind, the Alan Turing Institute & the UK Department of Health and Social Care. I grew up in Athens, Greece, where I studied Philosophy and History of Science.
Outside of work, I practice karate, write and enjoy going on really long walks in foreign cities.
